“Ninety two percent of all Millennials will choose to use or buy or interact with an organization that has a distinct cause linked to it,” says Yoobi founder Ido Leffler. The new CO-OP Purpose CSR initiative offers tools for credit unions to connect with causes through CO-OP partnerships. CO-OP Purpose comes to life in a video explaining its parts, including CO-OP’s innovation partnership with OpenIDEO, Miracle Match program with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, community engagement through local libraries, and the Credit Unions and Yoobi Classroom Initiative. In a panel discussion Leffler and CO-OP’s Samantha Paxson talk about their decision to partner up to bring financial literacy to the classroom, and Ivonet Gomez and Irene Rodriguez from USC Credit Union explain how this initiative fits with their community involvement goals.
