THINK 18 welcomes Nicholas Thompson, Editor-In-Chief, Wired Magazine

Digital Transformation is imperative for all businesses, no matter the size. Digital Transformation is defined as the integration of digital technology into all areas of a business resulting in fundamental changes to how businesses operate and how they deliver value to customers. But Digital Transformation is more than that: It’s the story of how digital technology will change all facets of our lives. And no one’s more equipped to tell it than Nicholas Thompson. A veteran editor, he revolutionized The New Yorker’s online platform and transformed the magazine. Now, as the editor-in-chief of Wired, he’s working at the forefront of digital innovation—championing tech’s role in making the world a better place. During his career, Thompson has written about politics, technology and law for numerous publications. In 2009, his book The Hawk and the Dove: Paul Nitze, George Kennan, and the History of the Cold War was published to critical acclaim. Thompson is also a contributor for CBS News and regularly appears on CBS This Morning and CBSN. He is a co-founder of The Atavist, a National Magazine Award-winning digital publication. Thompson is a member of numerous prestigious industry organizations and was a United States Truman Scholar who graduated from Stanford University. Meet Nicholas Thompson and other business pioneers at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler, Arizona, May 7 to 10, 2018 for THINK 18, the premier digital transformation conference for credit unions.
