Bradley Leimer, a top fintech influencer, will bring his expertise on achieving strategic agility through engagement banking to the THINK 19 stage this May in Miami, Florida.

As the Co-Founder of Unconventional Ventures, a consulting service dedicated to improving “systematic financial wellness,” Leimer works with banking clients, fintech startups, and tech firms, including IBM, Adobe, and Samsung. He built his influential expertise as the former Head of Innovation and Fintech Strategy at Santander U.S., gaining a first-hand understanding of the fintech ecosystem.

Leimer will offer THINK 19 attendees insider knowledge of an innovative frontier of financial services known as “engagement banking”. Fascinated by the dynamic connection between behavioral science and technology, Leimer defines engagement banking as a model that applies technology solutions to achieve “both customer intimacy and scale.” Leimer will explain how credit unions are well-positioned to use this model to deliver superior member experience.

“When I meet with the founders of fintech startups and they tell me they want to disrupt the banking industry to focus on the real needs of real people,” Leimer says, “I tell them to look at what the credit union has done for decades and model their business after them. That’s how powerful the credit union movement is – it’s been focused on building member value from day one.”

Leimer was ranked #5 on Jay Palter’s 2019 Fintech Influencer list, which analyzes large swaths of social media data to identify “the most followed, shared and engaged people discussing fintech topics online.”  Notable THINK alumni Brett King and Chris Skinner were also included in the top 10 of this year’s Fintech Influencer list.

Leimer joins a stellar lineup of THINK 19 keynote speakers featuring fintech and banking thought leaders like Financial Brand president and CEO Jeffry Pilcher. Together they will provide THINK attendees with strategies to capitalize on the current and future direction of the payments and fintech landscape.
